If the drain port of the high pressure sterilizer becomes clogged by broken glass fragments, paper scraps, or other debris, try opening the drain valve and using a rubber ear syringe or medical syringe to blow air into the drainage pipe to clear the obstruction.
For clogs caused by agar leakage, run the high pressure autoclave until it reaches 100°C, then shut it down. Ensure that the internal pressure has dropped to 0 MPa before opening the drain valve. Please handle with care to avoid burns.
If the above methods do not resolve the issue, it is recommended to contact a professional engineer for assistance.
If the high pressure autoclave shuts down unexpectedly and displays an error during the sterilization process, the cause may be insufficient water in the chamber, triggering the dry-run protection mechanism. Refill with sterilization water up to the level indicated on the water gauge, then restart the sterilization cycle.
In the event of a power outage during operation, restart the high pressure sterilizer once power has been restored.
The high pressure sterilizer is equipped with a lid-locking safety mechanism. If the lid is not securely closed, the unit will not start. Please ensure the lid is properly fastened before restarting the sterilization program.
If the high pressure autoclave fails to heat after starting, or if it cannot reach the target sterilization temperature of 121°C without displaying any leakage warning, and the circuit breaker trips when the program starts, it may indicate a damaged heating element. In this situation, contact a qualified service engineer immediately for inspection and repair.
